Telephone Lines.

Our Telephone lines are manned during the following times:

Newton Drive 01253 955717

         Monday                  -     0830 - 20.00

         Tuesday to Friday   -       08.30 - 18.00

Outside these hours emergency cover is provided by Fylde Coast Medical Services/NHS 111.   Your call can be transferred via our system, or you can ring 111 direct.  If you call 111 direct there is no call charge, if you transer via our practice number you will be charged for the call.

Complaints.

We strive to ensure that we never give any of our Patients cause for complaint, however, we realise that from time to time we may not achieve this for everyone.

If you feel that you have a reason for complaint please contact Mrs N Halsall, via Reception, who will discuss any grievance with you. If you are still not satisfied, following this discussion, Mrs Halsall will send you a copy of our Practice Complaints Procedure in order for you to formalise your complaint. An investigation will then ensue lead by the Practice Business Manager, who will then offer a formal response to your complaint.

GP Cover for Dr Murray's maternity leave

The practice is pleased to announce the appointment of two locum GPs - Dr Tooher and Dr Anthony - who will be working at the practice until next February to cover Dr Murray's maternity leave.

 

 

New Patient Registrations.

We have been having some enquiries about whether or not we are registering New Patients, in the New Health Centre. We can confirm that we are continuing to register new patients and welcome any new registrations immediately. Our List is well and truly open!! 

 

Changes to the Presciption Telephone Line

We have now changed the Prescription Telephone Line to a 24 hour answering service since we moved into the New Health Centre. This allows Patients to leave a message with regard to repeat prescription ordering, at a time that suits them and not just during the previousTelephone service of between 10.00 and 1.00.

This is a much improved service and helps to alleviate the frustration some Patients felt when they couldn't get through on the telephone for repeat prescription ordering.
