Please note we are only able to provide travel vaccinations to our registered patients
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete a Travel Questionnaire online, or by hand, this will be reviewed in 3 working days. After this time you should contact reception to be given information regarding your vaccination requirements. If required, an appointment will be made with the practice nurse to discuss and administer the vaccinations. There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below;
|Europe & Russia||North America|
|Central America||South America|
|Middle East||Central Asia|
|East Asia||Australasia and Pacific|
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible – at least 6 weeks before you travel. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine, it also gives the vaccination time to take effect. Most vaccines need to be given at least 2 weeks prior to departure, sometimes longer, depending on your length of stay and countries to be visited.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. Please note we charge the following for;
- Hepatitis B – £35
- Meningitis ACWY – £75
Unfortunately we are not able to offer all travel vaccinations, if this is the case you will be provided with information of where to obtain them. Please note that we are currently unable to offer vaccination against Yellow Fever, Japanese Encephalitis or Rabies – please use click this link to find your NEAREST YELLOW FEVER CENTRE.
