Urgent appointments
Triage is the name we give to our same day phone call service with our doctors; our triage runs from 8.30am – 11.30am and 2pm – 4.30pm.
Each week day one of our GP’s is assigned to be on-call. This means they are available for urgent on the day requests.
- This is for sudden onset illness e.g. severe abdominal pain, headache.
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):
- phone us on 01253 204585, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Routine appointments
All routine appointment are now triaged by a GP before an appointment is offered, this is done by patients submitting a request via the PATCHs system.
The GP will look at your request, ask for further information or photos to decide who the most appropriate person is to deal with your problem and if you need a face to face or telephone review. A member of the PATCHs admin team will then contact you to arrange this appointment, this will either be on the phone or by text message.
